Extrude Cut

Extrude cut is a feature in SolidWorks that allows users to create a cutout in a 3D solid or surface by extruding a sketch in a specific direction. Essentially, extrude cut is the opposite of the extrude feature, as it removes material from a part rather than adding it.

To use the extrude cut feature in SolidWorks, you need to first create a sketch on the surface of the part where you want to create the cutout. Once the sketch is created, you can select the extrude cut command from the toolbar or from the extrude cut button in the Command Manager.

The extrude cut feature can be used to create a wide range of cutouts in 3D objects, including holes, slots, and complex shapes. By using different options and configurations, you can modify the basic extrude cut feature to create more complex and customized shapes.
